REFLECTION/SHADOW
Reflection
When you think of reflection photos you usually think of water and the objects reflecting on that. But there are many other ways to present reflection photos. While taking these photos you have to be very creative and think out side of the box. The main point of reflection photos is to get the image of an object reflection in/on something else. Whether its trees in water, someone in a mirror, the sky in a car, etc. For the shooting conditions you are going to want light. Its difficult to shoot reflection photos in the dark or with little lite because the reflected image wont show up as well as it would with light.
Shadow
When shooting shadow photos you need LOTS of light. You can you flashlights, regular lights, or the sun. With out the light you wouldn't be able to shoot shadow pictures because there will be no shadow. When most people hear "Shadows" they think of people shadows. But really any object can make a shadow. You have to be really creative and really think about how you want the photos to turn out and be angled at. The easiest way to take a shadow picture is to just walk around outside and look for shadows from the sun. Make sure the shadows are dark enough to be able to see. Objects with interesting patterns on them turn out to make really cool looking shadows.
